Soul Original Media

You guessed it. It’s us. Soul Original Media is the Sacramento’s best option for video production (in our humble opinion)! We could go on and on about all the reasons–but first, let’s talk about you. After all, I’m guessing you’re not here because you want to watch us pat ourselves on the back. You probably want to be sure we are the best fit for you.

So, let me show you what it’s like to work with Soul Original Media, and you can decide if we meet your standard for choosing a video production company.

Without any further ado, here are Soul Original Media’s tenets when it comes to working with clients.

The Client’s Goals Come First

The point of the very first conversation we have with our clients is to dig into the most immediate needs and goals of the business. Why? Because without first setting up a target to hit, whatever video we create won’t have a clear purpose. We believe that video isn’t just about looking good—it’s about delivering results and ensuring the maximum return on investment. Whether it’s increasing brand awareness, driving sales, or engaging your audience, we tailor every project to align with your specific objectives. That way, every frame, every shot, and every edit is intentional, and helps your business achieve measurable success.

If I may use a sports analogy, video marketing is like driving down the football field, with the hopes of scoring a touchdown. If you don’t an understanding of the obstacles in front of you (your competition), your strengths, and a strategy for getting the ball down the field, your marketing dollars will be a waste and you’ll have to punt on hitting your business goals. In summary, strategy is key, and walks hand in hand with your business goals.

Clear and Simple Process

Whether you’ve never worked with a production company, or have been for decades, video production can be overwhelming if you don’t have repeatable process. Keeping the production process simple isn’t just about making things easier—it’s about making them better. A complicated, drawn-out process leads to confusion, delays, and wasted resources.

That’s why we keep things streamlined with five clear steps: Strategy, where we define your goals and messaging; Plan, where we map out everything from shot lists to scheduling; Shoot Day, where we bring the vision to life efficiently; Edit & Revisions, where we refine the footage into a polished, compelling video; and finally, Distribution & Optimization, ensuring your video actually works—getting in front of the right people and driving results. No fluff, no wasted time—just a smooth, stress-free process that delivers high-impact video content.

Story is the Secret Ingredient

I still remember walking out of my local movie theater after watching Inception for the first time. That movie took me on a journey! I connected with Cobb, the main character, and his struggle. The sounds, the stunning visuals, the urgency of the mission—it all pulled me in. All of these elements made the film unforgettable, and they can be summed up in one word: story.

At Soul Original Media, we harness that same power of storytelling to create videos that don’t just look good—but make people feel something. Every shot, every line of dialogue, every note of music is carefully crafted to resonate with your audience and leave a lasting impact.

You may not realize it yet, but your story matters. You’re more than just a company—there are real people behind the logo, with lives, families, and a mission to make a difference. We’re here to help you share that story because at the end of the day, people connect with people—through stories.

In the end, video marketing isn’t just about having high-quality visuals—it’s about creating something that moves the needle for your business. At Soul Original Media, we believe in strategic, story-driven, and results-focused video production that helps you stand out and achieve your goals. If that sounds like what you’re looking for, let’s talk. We’d love to hear about your vision and explore how we can bring it to life—because your story deserves to be told the right way.
